The Hunger Games

The Hunger Games is a dystopian book series that has since been adapted into a movie series. The movies, while unable to fully capture all moments in the books, do a great job of portraying the events that occur in the books. Both the book and movie series is a commentary on the way the real world runs, with descriptions of a controlling and cruel government system run by a dictator. They represent so many real world problems, such as poverty and an inequality of wealth.

Below you can see all books in the series in order from first released, to most recently released (March 2025). The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is set in the earliest time in the story, Sunrise on the Reaping comes second, and the other 3 books go in order from release.
